The singer, 32, will exclusively perform her latest single Praising You at the annual song contest, which will be held at Liverpool's Bank Arena in May.
She will be joined at the semi-finals by The X Factor star , who will be taking to the stage to perform just .
The semi-finals will take place across two days and feature an array of star-studded live performances, including from Eurovision legends and Ukrainian and British stars.
Rita will perform her single Praising You and a host of her other smash hits at the first semi-final on May 9, which will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

She will finally take to the Eurovision stage after she auditioned to sing for Britain at the song contest in 2009, before pulling out after getting through to the final stages of the competition.
Rita, who was just 17 years old at the time, and went on to shoot to global fame.
The Poison hitmaker will perform during the interval of the first semi-final, followed by The X Factor star Rebecca Ferguson.
The soul singer, 36, will perform alongside Ukrainian singer Alyosha, who came in 10th place while represented Ukraine in the song contest back in 2010.
Amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Alyosha was forced to leave her country and loved ones behind and will share her personal journey with a rendition of Duran Duran's Ordinary World.
Rebecca's performance will come just months after she welcomed her fourth child, and her first with her husband Jonny Hughes, on Valentine's Day.
Over her career, Rebecca has had top 20 songs including Nothing's Real But Love, Backtrack and I Hope, according to Official Charts.
All her albums, 2011's Heaven, 2013's Freedom, 2015's Lady Sings The Blues and 2016's Superwoman have made it into the top 10.

Elsewhere during the first semi-final, host Julia Sanina will open the show in a powerful opening act with her band The Hardkiss.
The performance aims to symbolise how the United Kingdom has become 'united by music' with war-torn Ukraine by hosting the 2023 song contest on behalf of the 2022 winners.
The second semi-final will be broadcast on May 11 and will feature two live interval performances from Mariya Yaremchuk and Zlata Dziunka.
Mariya, who represented Ukraine at Eurovision in 2014, will perform a contemporary montage of some of Ukraine's best-known music, before rapper Zlata, 14, will join her for the final number.
A performance from three drag performers titled Be Who You Wanna Be will also feature during the interval and will celebrate how Eurovision is a place for everyone.

Despite oozing confidence on stage, she seemingly opted to hum to the music as the excited audience did all the singing.
